Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Niketanam College for Women
"True Knowledge is that which establishes hormony and synthesis between science on the one hand and spirituality and ethics on the other" -Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba....
It is often said that educating a man results in his education alone, whereas when a woman is educated, her entire family is educated and benefited. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has always been a champion of women's education, empowerment, and their welfare. Inspired by Swami's ideals, Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Niketanam Junior College for Women is an endeavor to provide completely free, values-based education combining Indian Culture & Spirituality to girls across all sections of society, including the underprivileged. The focus is to empower women, both from urban and rural India, and create individuals who can be role models for society in the future.

VISION & MISSION
Education is one of the most critical areas of empowerment of women. Especially in the third world economies, the deprivation and ostracization that women and girl children suffer is a major reason for socio-economic under-development. In a society like India, this discrimination is even more pronounced.
Offering basic education is one sure way of empowering women and making them equal stakeholders in life. An educated woman has the skills, information and self-confidence that she needs, In order to be a better parent, worker, citizen and role model. In the words of Aung San Suu Kyi, the education and empowerment of women throughout the world cannot fail to result in a more caring, tolerant, just and peaceful life for all.
This is the underlying philosophy behind Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Niketanam Junior College for Women.
